ASAC Convention, January 25-27, 2013

2013 ANNUAL ASAC CONVENTION AND BANQUET
EMBASSY SUITES- CONCORD, NC
JANUARY 25-27, 2013

Plans are finalized for the 2013 ASAC Convention, January 25-27, 2013 to again be held at the Embassy Suites in Concord, NC, Exit 49 off I-85.

  • RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY JANUARY 10, 2013. Be sure to request the special rate listed “ASA” for the “American Saddlebred Association of the Carolinas.” The rate is $129.00 per night, which includes a complimentary breakfast, happy hour and parking.
  • Reservations, spa appointments and golf times can be booked at http://www.embassysuitesconcord.com. Group/convention code is “ASA.” Contact the hotel at: 5400 John Q. Hammons Drive NW-Concord, NC 28027 – (704) 455-8200.
  • Friday night’s Reception and Live & Silent Auctions will begin at 7:00 pm. The Silent Auction will continue through Saturday this year and bids will close at 6:30 pm on Saturday. At 7:00 pm on Friday night, there will be an ASAC Youth “”In Neon” themed party. The Youth will have two adjoining rooms with games and food on one side and a DJ and dancing on the other side. T-shirts for all registered Youth Members are available for a $5 fee. Please list either “Adult” with S-M-L-XL or “Youth” S-M-L size on registration form.
  • Meetings start early on Saturday morning with separate meetings for the Youth and General Membership. Following the meetings will be a family outing at the Dave & Busters Arcade. Also, a variety of vendors will be set up in the convention hall and upstairs suites. Updates on the website.
  • Tickets are available for a family outing at Dave & Busters Arcade at Concord Mills Mall for $10. This includes lunch, $10 worth Midway games, unlimited arcade games & one hour of bowling. Additional Midway game tickets can be purchased at Dave & Busters. This is across I-85 from the Embassy. Limited tickets are reserved so sign up early!! As with Any Successful Convention, Volunteers are Needed!!!!

As we all prepare for the Holidays and New Year, it is time to start thinking about the 2013 show season.
